Market ID also has the ability to develop a profitability
measurement capability for your institution. Our profitability analysis utilizes
your transaction file and transaction codes in a database format. We use any
known unit costs associated with your transactions or work with you to develop
and verify our estimates. The allocation of non-transaction costs is based on
our estimates or those of your institution.
Profitability can be associated with products, households,
branches and markets. Once the initial system is in place, Market ID can periodically
update these measures based on current activity, balances and overhead. Profitability
factors can be appended to individual records for in depth analysis or management
reporting.
